This is the favor cake I made for my sister’s bridal shower.  The bottom layer is made with chocolate chip cardstock.  The middle layer is purely pomegranate and the top layer is pretty in pink.  I filled each slice with Hershey’s kisses.  Each slice is wrapped with a ribbon.  The flowers are from the pretties kit, dyed to match the colors of the cake.  Each flower center is a halfback pearl, also from the pretties kit.

Click here   for a printable template.  It is time consuming but easy to make.  There are 11 slices of cake for the bottom and middle layers and there are 10 slices for the top layer.  Print out the pattern on your choice of cardstock and cut and score as indicated on the pattern.  Decorate.

Supplies:

Cardstock:  chocolate chip, purely pomegranate and pretty in pink

Accessories:  Pretties kit, chocolate chip and pretty in pink taffeta ribbon

Thanks for looking

awesome job, and thanks so much for the templates. I think it would also be a neat thing to make for a bride and groom to fill with gift cards, perhaps small home items, etc. Thanks again! I’m glad I found your blog - your work is great.
